DESCRIPTION:\n\nAn exhibition of the local traditional products displayed in beautiful wooden pavilions (open on Sundays\, too)\, where events and excursions free of charge\, of agro-touristic\, cultural\, traditional and folklore interest\, are also held.\n\nEvery afternoon from Friday to Sunday\, all through July\, there is a kiosk for creative pastime for children (painting\, constructions etc).

DESCRIPTION:\n\nCan violence be combated\, perhaps even eradicated altogether? But how? Is it an acquired characteristic or innate? Where does violence within the family stem from and how does it relate to societal violence? Can there be historical evolution without violence?\n\nA ‘closed circuit’ of historical figures with all-powerful but dark familial bonds experience the break-down of a primitive state which is built on violence and does not guarantee justice. They make the transition to a state which is built on peace and democracy and governed by the rule of law\, but there is no guarantee the new status quo will provide the internal balance\, freedom and personal happiness everyone desires. A tightly-knit group of 12 select actors divide all the roles in Aeschylus’ trilogy between them\, including the chorus. With minimal sets and props\, but with every dynamic that can underlie personal\, family\, political and social life\, the bloody cycle of a family is retold as the historic cycle of a nation which must sacrifice its children if it is to be born anew. But rebirth will not necessarily bring salvation with it—not if it based in socio-political visions without the transformative blessing of family love.\n\n\nWith English Surtitles

DESCRIPTION:\n\nWhat makes a theatrical production unique\, over and beyond any artistic value it may have\, is the fact that it is recorded on our hearts and minds alone—nowhere else. And that allows memory to make choices\, confusing people and roles\, filling the silences with tales from life. We forget the details of the plot and our remembered images fill with shadows. Time has frozen. Only snapshots are left and images filled with shadows from old photographs.\n\nThen you hear a song from a production you can barely remember and\, suddenly\, there’s Melina large as life climbing the steps from the Basement to the moon!\n\nThe actors are back in character and everything is in place once more on stage. However many years go by\, songs have the power to breathe new life into mythic figures and tales confessed to the gods one night beneath the stars.\n\nTania Tsanaklidou\n\n
