In the south of the peninsula of Methana there are several beaches in the picturesque bays of the area. Foflaka in Agioi Theodoroi, the beach of Saint George and the beach of Saint Nicholas of Old Baths (Baths of Pausanias), which many guests visit for its thermal baths.
Among the most famous beaches, well preferred by holidaymakers, are Limnionas (known as La after the same-named beach-bar that operates there), Ai-Giorgis (a small fishing village with a marvelous beach and warm shallow waters), the beach at Kounoupitsa, Agios Nikolaos and the beach at Paleokastro.
Also on the western side of Methana there is the quite picturesque, magnificent beach Almyra in Vathi.
In a natural cove, between the mountains of Troizina and the volcano of Methana, there are Psifta and Dardiza, two beaches with sand and pebbles. In front of the lagoon of Psifta, there are underwater ruins of an ancient civilization, visible even from the shore.
