The Isthmia Museum is located next to the vast archaeological site. It consists of two rooms, where findings of great value from archaeological excavations at Isthmia and the harbor of Cenchreai, the second port of ancient Corinth are exhibited.
Among the findings stands out a wooden door from the Temple of Isis at Cenchreai – the forerunners of European mosaics bearing pictorial representations of birds, fish, plants and human figures, such as Homer and Plato – a marble Perirrhanterion found in the Sanctuary of Poseidon dating back to the 7thcentury BC, Corinthian tiles, Isthmian columns and an exquisite collection of weapons and helmets.
