The Museum’s exhibition encompasses urban life of the 19th century in Nafplio and its surrounding areas. The collections of the Foundation cover all areas related to modern Greek culture (traditional costumes and utensils, embroideries, photographs and jewelry). Moreover, the building includes a library. In 1981, it was awarded with the EMYA (European Museum of the Year main Award), as the first and most comprehensive Folk Museum in Europe.
