Descending towards the settlement Koroni, visitors come across yet another chapel, the Church of the Assumption (Panagitsa Koroniou), a small cemetery church with a low extended wooden roof dating back to the late 17th or early 18th century. Its distinctive characteristic are the cypress trees surrounding it all these years, safeguarding the graves laying around and worshiping them with contrition and reverence, in an emotional atmosphere.
